Update on Hydraulic fan problem

About a year ago I asked for advice about correcting a problem with the hydraulic fan motor that cooled my side radiator. After several "No Helps" at dealerships, advice from IRV2 and shade tree diagnosis the problem was found. The wire in the connector to the air conditioner sensor was not seated properly. This caused the Fan circuitry to default to full speed mode at all times.

Prior to the fix my mileage over 25K miles was 6.2 MPG.
After the fix my mileage over 5K miles was 7.1 MPG.
This was a 14% improvement and over the 5K miles saved about $400 in fuel costs.
Bottom line is that those big cooling fans take a LOT of power

Thanks again for all your help
Have a nice day - Darrel
