Arrow Ventana 4003

Well it's been about a year that I ready to get an LE, a 36', but a great older HR Rambler sort of feel into our laps with 31,000 miles I did a lot of upgrades thought I was keeping it 5 years or so.

(Who ever buys it will make out very well I went thru it bumper to bumper)

Now returning from an 8,000 miles journey out west we want to get into something a bit larger and new.

So I'm circling back to Newmar, but the Entegra 42DEQ is also on the short list.

Drove the DEQ a few days ago very nice, but it does come in about $30,000 more than the 4003 equip the way I want.

Both have tags, can't find a '15 40' newmar in FL to demo yet, but I drove a 38 non tag in strong crosswinds it was great.

Not trying to get into a Newmar v Entegra thing here that thread is going strong else where.

here's what I spec'd so far

larger AC's
Aqua hot
w/d
maytag, 2K psw & 2 extra batts ( don't want all elec)
central vac
radio with nav
like the queen bed for more foot room and larger nite stands
power elec & hose reels
Solar prep, I'll be adding 600 watts like I have now
storage tray
Mcd's
safe
heat pads under tanks, but someone said with aquahot may not need them, I only do very little cold weather camping
polar pak roof
3 awnings
skip fiberglass roof
skiped the hi def wiring with blu ray for $1100????
skipped Wineguard auto for $1200 is that worth that kind of $$

any thoughts

any options that are avail but not on their list?

Both entegra & Newmar are talking Jan delivery discounts are 32 & 28 respectively.

Heat pads you do not need I have done 1* TEMPS with just the furnace.
Yes to large AC's.
The cold pac you want for cold weather and better cooling in the hot summer.
May come in with the Oasis heat which everyone likes, standard.
May also have surround sound system, standard.
Manual awnings less problems if you can get them may come auto as standard.
Would get HD equipment wiring unless you go wireless setup.
Rest look good.

Order sheet

w/d
maytag, 2K psw & 2 extra batts ( don't want all elec)
central vac too big/bulky - try Dyson DC model
radio with nav its out of your line of sight. I stick my Garmin right in front of me
like the queen bed for more foot room and larger nite stands v
power elec & hose reels cv
Solar prep, I'll be adding 600 watts like I have now
storage tray convenient with less storage.
Mcd's
safe - we're too broke to need one.
heat pads under tanks, but someone said with aquahot may not need them, I only do very little cold weather camping -
polar pak roof - if offered
3 awnings - slides?
skip fiberglass roof - so easy to maintain and keep clean.
skiped the hi def wiring with blu ray for $1100????
skipped Wineguard auto for $1200 is that worth that kind of $$

Let the fun begin.

Oasis is only standard on 43?? Models on the Ventana. You will see it listed as option on the order sheet 007 provided. I will not comment on your other choices because options I like may/are different than you want or like. IMHO options are an individual like or dislike depending on how a person plans to use their coach.

Been hunting all round to see one in person, only one found on east coast was Johnson in NC, too far.

The one area that was not to be found in online pics was the bath and kitchen pantry.
Johnson was nice enough to send pics of the one they have.

We decided on the paint design "stealth", but still undecided on interior colors,
spoke to Michelle at Newmar she help a lot and did offer to help if I went there.

There are several '15's in other floor plans within an hour or so that I can see the colors in.

I think I can wrap this up soon, I see RVone at the Hearshy show is claiming to knock off $5,000 on any new order they call it matching down payment or something....now I think we know that all they need to do is work the discount so it looks that way.

But I think I found the best discount at 28% off at this point, so if they take a real $5K off that number they will get the order.

Will see, I have a friend that will be at the show with my options and my quote, if they can do it, I asked him to have their rep call for the order.

Will see.
