Ventana BR slide underside metal strap

We noticed there were two screws on the ground under slide.
A heavy metal strap under the slide had pulled loose from the bottom.
They look like they are stripped out.
Should we attemp to put side in , replace with longer screws, etc?
The metal is at least 1/4 inch thick.
Can not believe these screws ever held it in place.

Thanks for suggestionsu

I had this problem except all my screws came out. Called Newmar and they said these are important.

My holes were stripped so I had to replace them with larger screws.
