Had this accomplish on our Ventana the week of 16 Nov 08. Installs a heat deflector/shield that protects the front lower edge of the engine compartment/"doghouse" above where the exhaust crosses over from the drivers to passenger side (between the engine & transmission) of the motorhome. Had no damage to the polyethylene moisture barrier in a little over 10K miles, coach still has not been through a regeneration cycle for the catalytic converter. Inside of chrome exhaust extension is still as shiny as the outside!
I will try to get some pictures of the installation on Saturday and post them for those affected by this recall to see. Service center said it was a real easy/quick install, only time consumer would be if polyethylene moisture barrier needed replacement.
One note is that our floor plan is different than most other floor plans, our bed is situated back to front vice the side to side configuration that is on all other Ventana floor plans. Our engine compartment/"doghouse" is much larger, it does not have the step between the bed and closet area, engine compartment/"doghouse" is entirely under the bed.
More to follow for those that are interested.
