Villa Seats - no support - painful when driving

For those of you with villa front seats that are in the 2009 or there abouts Essex and KingAire... what are you using for seat support. These seats are super wide, super soft, and the seat itself is a bit long making long drives very painful on the back and legs. I have tried a few seat cushions with little help. Also, i find the seat extremely hot on those warm days.... gets really uncomfortable.

Anyone with this style seat that has had issues with driver comfortability want to share what your using for support, and to stay cool?

Thanks

It's interesting how these Villa frt. seats have evolved. My previous coach, a Travel Supreme had Villa Essex style seats, which were perfect. Later, they got larger, like yours. Now my '14 Essex came with the shortest seat bottom imaginable!...about 16.5 in. From frt. to back. But Villa stepped up and re-built it with more length, but only to about 18 in. Deep. For me, that is a workable length.

Bottom line....for a price, Villa mey be able to take some of the depth out of that seat. They are located on the east side of Elkhart. Carol Stoner is the lady I've worked with at that facility.

The '08 KGDB is terrible too. I went to the Villa factory in Elkhart and they did a partial rebuild on the seat. Put in firmer foam and shortened the seat some. It's better than it was, but there's still no side-to-side support.

I enquired about swapping the seat out totally, but there was no way to do it because none of their current seats (with better support) would fit the original mount under the floor. And because of the integral seat belt, the mount couldn't be changed without significant engineering cost and re-certification.

Next time we head out for a season, I'm going to see about getting some bolster pillows to wedge into the corners for some side support.
