Most MFG's use the vinyl covered wood work on lower entry MH's.

Does have a fix to repair torn or nicked vinyl other than getting it recovered at factory.
I have used the pencils and stains but eventually it will turn white and will have to do process all over again.

have a fix or trick up their sleeve.

Did you all get hardwood cabinets for first MH. Lucky you all, thought someone would have a trick or two for us non-hardwood owners.

I do plan on doing some replacing with real wood on the moldings but I have real wood cabinet doors. I have heard they can be replaced without replacing the whole cabinet.

Can't really help you.

If it's the paneling on the walls, you may need to cover them with wallpaper or a sheet of paneling (get the real wood kind ) If it's low enough height, you could do a wainscoting treatment. Or a sheet of "blackboard" for messages? I would suggest you stay away from MDF as it soaks up moisture. We replaces the old cheapie paneling in our Class C with "bead board" and then painted it, with regular satin latex paint, a rather cheerful yellow to lighten and brighten the interior.

If it's the cabinets... Sand & cover with laminate or one of the veneers sold for refacing cabinets (can get new wood doors too) from places like Home Depot or Lowes (look in the cabinet section). But vinyl wrapped "wood" is often a low grade of particleboard and it's really not worth messing with.

Other than that, replace cabinets completely.

007,, Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the vinyl on your cabinets.I had the same trouble with my vinyl covered cabinets. 03 Newmar Scottsdale. Took it to the dealer 3 times but they messed it up every time.We had enough and threatened to go to the factory befor the 3yr warranty ran out, Went to another dealer and had the warranty work fixed right as this was also the office of the owner of both RV dealers.
Wish ya luck in getting yours fixed right.

Thanks Lorna and Owlslair the panel is the one as you come in the door on lower cabinet.
It looks like someone rested there shoe against it and the base board of cabinet and stones in shoe scraped the vinyl they hide it when we purchased but showed up later they tried to fix but as Owl said it just got worse.
Will check out what Larna said and see if I can find a match for vinyl and recover the plywood board.
The wall panel is stapled to the main frame of cabinet.

OWLSLAIR how about some Karma.

I have finally found something that fixes nicks and scratches on vinyl woodwork.
I was cussing the dealer and everything I tried the cherry pencil stick and liquid cherry pencil would show a dried white substance on the vinyl after a while when it dried.
The magic portion is OLD ENGLISH polish for Light Wood. It cleaned all the wax substance off vinyl and hides the nicks I had from someones shoes (salesman )
I use the light wood polish just to see if it worked.
I did all cabinets and wood vinyl surfaces and than wiped down the excess oil finish. Had to use a couple applications in some spots but the result was just amazing it looks better than new.
The same OLD ENGLISH should work for the hard wood people also the oil pentrates the wood and hides any nicks or scratches worked great on my solid wood doors.
As your wood drys out some cracks will appear and the oil will restore the finish and cracks that may appear.
