Vtdp & mcd

On the Newmar website's build a coach section there is an option for power MCD shades on a 2016 Ventana. But on the build sheets it is not an option either on 2016 or 2017 models.

Has anyone been able to get the power MCDs on a Ventana?

Might be that they are standard. From the 2017 change list that was up on the Steinbring website for a few days I found this.

Roller shades now standard

Doesn't say what type of shades. Newmar order forms for the 2017 is throwing an error tonight so can't look at those. It was an option on the 2016 sheets that are available on the Newmar site. I checked a couple of models and saw MCD shades and MCD power shades depending on which one I looked at. 2016 VTDP 4311 shows both as options.

Hmmm...Our 2016 has MCD shades that we selected as an option. The only ones that are powered are the front windshield...I haven't looked at the 2017 info that carefully.

We got the MCD shade option on our Ventana but was told the power option was not offered to keep differentiation from the Dutch Star where it was an option. Quite honestly I would not go for the power option anyway, just something else to go wrong.
