Wall Construction

Just watched a very informative You tube video on Newmar wall construction and how they dont use luan lamination. i LOVE THAT. Does anyone know if that is valid for a 2001 Mountain Aire? This is going a long way in convincing me to buy Newmar!

Our 2000 and 2002 DSDP were both hung wall construction. The wall is not laminated so it can't de-laminate!

No Lamination problem....BUT it might have the checking problem. Early 2000 Newmars had inferior fiberglass walls that created the checking problem.

"BUT" this problem is not just with Newmar coaches. Most all manufacturers had the same result with there coaches in the early to mid 2000's. Newmar will re-side the coach if you like but again that's a lot of $$$$$$.

Hung walls are the only thing Newmar builds for all their coaches for as far back as I remember. Think there is only one other manufacturer that builds hung walls.
