Want to install booster on Tire Minder system.
I have a Tire Minder A1A monitoring system on my brand new 2017 Dutch star 4369. . Where have some of you installed the booster? I currently have them on the Chassis Batteries way in the back of the coach, but feel there must be a better location. Please share your thoughts with me.
thanks
Mitch

My opinion is that is a good place for it, especially if you are going to put monitors on your tow vehicle. This is where mine was. The reason for a booster is to get that signal to the back. I think you are good!

This video might help. https://youtu.be/QlZRLPfA0s8
I think you are good to go where you have your booster installed now.

I installed mine in the half bath electrical cabinet. There was a open 12 volt spade just plugged right into it.

Mine is in the rear closet using power from the light and a switch. Switch is necessary because of the glow in the closet at night.
The only concern with your location is to keep the unit dry and not in a acid fume environment. I have a Tire Traker and even when I have forgot to turn switch on it still receives signal.

I installed mine on the right wall (as you look in) of the Oasis cabinet. I had power in the next bay (power cord reel bay). I don't have a toad with sensors, but found I needed an extender to see the tag monitors consistently.

I had the TST 507 unit in our '02 DSDP. Took the booster and put a 12V plug on it. When we moved I plugged it into the socket beside the bed and put it on the bed. Worked fine that way

Have you tried without a booster? I have the Eez tire system and I don't need the booster. I also have the 4018 which is three feet shorter, but just saying it's possible you don't need the booster after all.
