Wash the RV Roof?
Do you was it? If so, how do you do this safely?

Yes, I probably wash the roof 3 times a year and blow leaves off about 5 times a year. I have a collapsible ladder and when washing I wear water shoes which have a very slip resistant sole.

I wash the roof every time I wash the coach.... probably 4-5 times a year. I wax the roof and the coach 2x a year. I climb up the rear ladder and wash the roof , using a brush on a handle and a bucket of soapy water and then rinse it off... on the coach, I use a Mary Moppins pad on a pole. All get rinsed with deionized water.

Since our coach is under roof in storage the majority of time, I wash and wax the roof at least once a year and inspect every 6 months or before leaving on an extended trip. Having someone do this for you is good idea if you are unsure of your abilities to do it safely.
I use the coach’s ladder to get on the roof and pull my supplies up with a rope tied to a bucket taking no unnecessary chances.

I wash the roof 2 times a year- my hired man does it as he a lot younger & much more agile than I am.

I have a TPO roof that was almost black, after years of storage/non-use. I got up there with a pressure washer, only 1600 psi with a wide spray, and it worked beautifully to clean it. Now, 2 years later, I'm about to get up there again, but it's not nearly as bad as before. Just have to be careful not to get too close.
One pic is when halfway done, the other after finished.

I was actually shocked at how clean it became. I didn't use any cleaning solutions at all, or scrub brushes. Just the power washer. They recommend 2000 PSI or less.

I do mine typically 2x/yr on my hands and knees (with knee pads). Using a bucket and hose.
