Washed with Ceramic Coating

The final step in preparing for our summer of travels was a wash and wax.

Destin RV Wash, used McGuires Hybrid Ceramic Wax completely by hand. And it looks better an I have ever seen it. Now we see how long it lasts

Total w&w job took 5 hours, with 3 guys. My cost was $616 for 44 ft or $14/ft. Click image for larger version

$41 an hour, sure beats flipping burgers!

~$125 in the RGV. for wash and wax + Toad. But to claybar one and remove all imperfections would take a week.

The coach looks great, will check out the stuff at Walmart next trip.

Was just reading Newmar recommendations for the tools necessary to wash and clean it, I have the extension handle, squeegee (not sure this is approved, but it's made of surgical silicone, so don't think it will hurt the paint/finish), has anyone ordered the recommended lambs wool washing mits, etc. How large bucket do you use, and do you change solution part way through.

The lambs wool works very well. Good on the paint. I use a HD bucket and change out the water several times.

I also use a 5 gallon bucket with one of these. It lets the dirt and grit settle in the bottom of the bucket.
