Washer won't drain

Whirlpool was will not drain during wash cycle. Got A-10 error code. Manual suggest bent drain tube. Without removing machine, find it hard to believe drain tube is crimp or bent. Our Dutch Star is 2016. just outside 1yr warranty. Any one else have this problem?

Do you have your grey tank drain closed? A full tank could cause this problem.

check the filter should be right lower bottom. Before u do, have wet vac running and suck the water up as it drains out. don't pull the filter all the way ,just loosen and suck water till its all drained
if its not a plugged filter then most likely its a bad pump or its a bad timer control which advances and runs each cycle

NOTE: if door will open then suck the water out of there first and it wont take as long as all out the filter area and less chance of flooding

I agree with Select 55 , if you are using color sheets in your washer they will go down and plug up the filter.

I've seen this before. DW used a color bleach sheet and it got stuck in the filter. Hopefully that's all it is.

Remove that lowest panel on the front- pry down with a knife to releace latches. After sucking as much water out of washer with a wet vac, place towels on floor in front of lower rt. Corner. Unscrew filter cap and pull out the debris. May have to power down/ up the washer to release error code.

google up the error code and washer make and model...there are several you-tube vids that show the filter remove and clean procedure.

Our 2015 has done this a couple of times with an A-10 code in the 1 1/2 years we've owned it, seemingly due to excessive soap suds. The wife turned the machine off, changed the dial to "Drain and Spin", turn the machine back on and wait for it to empty. Then start the wash cycle over if necessary (See P.S. below) with less soap. We've never had to remove the lower panel or the filter plug. Course we're careful to not have any small items in the wash that could clog the filter.

P.S. We usually assume the Wash cycle has completed and just reset the dial to Rinse/Spin instead of doing the Wash Cycle over again once the tub has empted.
