Water Bay Leak

On my current trip we noticed what appears to be a freshwater leak in the 2018 DSDP water bay. It looks to be either a crimp or part failure or cracked elbow? As we are boondocking for a few days I am reluctant to torque on this too much, but the fittings all appear to be manually tight, however access is tough. Can anyone identify this part, or possibly the problem? Thanks in advance !!

Steve is the white plastic cap tight on that fitting and does it have a "0" ring behind the cap.
I have no idea what it is or for, do see some print L- POINT MAY GIVE A CLUE.

That’s the water strainer on the intake side of the water pump. There is often issues with the o-ring between the clear cap and the piece it screws onto. If the water leak is an issue that you need to resolve now, you could remove the strainer and connect the hose directly to the water pump. The strainer has a male connector on one end and a female connector in the tiger so it’s easy to bypass.

If the problem is the clamp, you can remove the existing pex clamp (usually by prying with screwdriver and replace it with a standard hose clamp. Perhaps you can get a tight fit that way. Lastly, if you problem is the elbow, you can get a replacement at the hardware store.

Lightly try to tighten the lower portion of the strainer elbow cap. It should be a hard hand tight. Also do the same for the clear portion of the strainer. I don't know if the lower portion will screw onto the upper portion eliminating the strainer but it could be worth a try if you're losing that much water. I've attached a picture of your strainer.

If it is the threaded connection, yes, you can use a tool to get it a little tighter, obviously don't overdo it. I remove and replace my water pump every season and use pliers to get these connections tight enough so they don't leak.

Many thanks for the help on this great website!
I will further address after our full travel day today, escaping the 'record-setting crowds' in Jackson WY, (this pic was taken an hour up the road in Dubois, WY - a very scenic drive over the continental divide) heading to Moab, hoping to not see the same this late in the season !!
