Water Leak

We have water leaking into drivers side front passthrough bay of Ventana LE. We initially thought it had something to do with connections to the refrigerator because the leading edge of the carpet under the fridge was wet. Now, we discover a large pocket of water between the floor and vapor barrier. I assume the proper thing to do is cut the vapor barrier and find the connections above it? Any suggestions would be appreciated?

If your carpet is wet would be looking in back of fridge for leak off ice maker if you have one.
Open the outside rear vent cover and see if water is dropping down behind the fridge.
Do you have a forward kitchen in coach?

IS your fridge a Dometic or a norcold?

Dometic there are to suspects, Norcold generally one

Do you have an ice maker and is it working properly or not?

Common suspect is the water line from the Solenoid into the freezer compartment for the ice maker, this splits and spays water all over the outside (Back of fridg) compartment it then seeps in under the fridge and.. Well you described that.

Cure short term: Raise the wire to disable the beast.. Long term new line or,,, I removed it and went with ice cube trays.

Dometic: both Norcold and Dometic have a drip tube. On the Norcolds it drains into a cup (Evaporation cup) which may need cleaning but frankly I doubt this is the issue

on the Dometics it is SUPPOSED to be put through one of the vent holes so it drips drips drips on the ground ground ground.

However when my rig was new the dealer did not put it out.. When I went back in for a Recall I mentioned it to them, the repair tech returning my keys to the wright up guy said "I always put them out".. Guess what I found when I got back to RV (HE LIED).

And that is what I found on my RV.

We Have the 3845 Model with refrigerator opposite the kitchen and behind the dinette. My son closed the valve under the floor that leads to the Maytag refrigerator and the problem seems to have stopped. I am unsure how to remove the refrigerator or if I should return to the dealer for warranty repair. I am also concerned about the wet insulation under the floor, will it dry quickly enough such that mold won't grow? Thank you for the replies..

I don't like taking my coach back to the dealer because I generally can fix things better then they do, but in this situation, you might want to get the water damage documented.

Don, thank you for your reply. I feel the same way, I prefer to fix what I can myself.
