Water on top of slide

I have a 2004 Newmar Kountry Star. In a hard rain, I get water on top of the living room slide. This happens when slide is closed.
The slide has a slide cover so I'm at a loss on where to look.
If anyone has a suggestion, I would appreciate your input.
Thanks

Could be a leak in the fabric if it has lost the waterproofing coating or along trim that attaches the slide cover to the side wall.

Are you saying that when the slide is out and it rains, when you put the slide back in there is water on the top of the slide that ends up inside or is the slide closed and when it rains the water leaks onto the top of the closed slide?

If the latter then it would be the rubber seal around the top of the slide frame.
