Water pressure

I have a 2016 DS4369. We are at a RV Resort that has 100 psi water pressure. I am using my
new regulator and its set on 60 psi but my flow rate is low, especially in shower. Anyone know what max water pressure ratings are?

I believe they're tested at close to 100 psi, but I set mine at 65psi.

Keep in mind that pressure and flow are two different things. If it's a 1/2" regulator versus a 3/4" regulator, you'll have lower volume.

I also found that my aerators and shower head easily clogged with calcium. I would occasionally remove them and let them soak in CLR for a few hours and put them back. I now run a water softener.

I understand the diff between flow and pressure (my problem is flow). My new regulator may be 1/2". Will look for 3/4". Thanks.

I agree with Don, not all regulators are created equal. I just picked up a new regulator at the RV show in Quartzite that is not supposed to reduce the volume. I will post my impression once I give it a try. Ditto on the water softener. They are like bidets-once you have one you never go back!

After more investigation, I ran the shower on hot only. Water pressure and flow very low. As slowly turned knob to add cold (less hot) pressure and volume greatly increased. I checked Oasis, could see no leaks. Is there a filter coming off Oasis?

I narrowed it down to mixing valve on shower. Ordered a replacement.

Ryan, we're at Quartzsite right now camping with a friend that had a similar issue in his 2018 DS. He opened up the cover exposing the mixing valve and it has two set screws, one for hot and one for cold. They had both vibrated lose and started closing, limiting the water. He turned them both wide open and then added silicone to the screws so they wouldn't move again.

Just curious,
To remove the cover that exposes the mixing valve do you remove the handle for turning on/off the shower?

I can't make contact with set screw thru hole on bottom of handle and, because of the angle, can't see it. Any ideas so I can get handle off without breaking it?

Ryan it’s not SAE it’s metric. You will need to get a 2.5mm Allen wrench.

That would be a 3/32 standard. Prob have to grind down your 1/8. Wouldn’t have to take much off.
