Water pressure regulator

At what level should you set your water pressure regulator?

The preset ones are at 45-50psi. I'd start there. On your newer rig, I wouldn't anticipate any issues.

Water pressure regulator

I have the Valterra 1117. I have it set for 60 psi, which is pretty much where municipal water systems and private wells are set for residential use.
When you run on your own tank, the internal pump generally runs at about 40-42 psi. That's adequate to most tasks, but 60 psi gives you (IMO) a more rapid flow, a more comfortable shower, and a more robust flush. My understanding is that RV water supply lines are tested to 100 psi, so 60 shouldn't raise any issues.
Those small, cylindrical, preset units are set at about 40 psi, but they also act as significant flow restrictors.

Some RVs have a water pressure regulator built into the water entry.
If yours does an add on regulator is a waste of $$.

Your good quality water pumps run at 65 psi. Your system should handle 90-100psi. I set mine at 65 psi.

I think our Watts is set at 45. It's less than I would really like but it is settable so maybe I'll do that over the 4th when we go out (finally). Place we're headed has 120 psi at times.

Mine is at 60 to 65 psi. Next time I find some high pressure, I will fine tune it to 65 psi like Don.

I have a good quality wAtts set at 40 and have zero issues with glow volume. All fitting are 3/4 inch fro water source to Rv hose.
