Water pump not working

Tried all 3 switches, no luck. Fuse in the bathroom fuse panel labeled "Monitor panel/water pump" is a 10 amp and is ok. Any ideas? It's a flojet 3x26 pump in a 2014 VLDP 3634. Thank you!

It looks to be a model 3526. Could that fuse in the bathroom be just for the green lights on the switch panels and there is another fuse location for the actual water pump?

I don't have your unit but, will try to help. Give us a little more information. Did the pump work and just quit? Do you have other 12volt lights and appliances that work? Are you hooked to city water in a campground or are you dry camping? Do you have a 12 volt tester? If so check to see if you have power at the pump itself. That will tell if the problem is in the wiring leading to the pump or the pump itself. Does the pump do anything at all?

Check for 12vdc at the pump when it should be running. If there, likely the pump is bad. If not there, something upstream from there.

Hi jimfh2o,
I know this will sound dumb, but try another fuse. Sometimes the fuse will look and meter good, but will not pass AMPS.

It worked a week ago. Went to turn it on today and nothing...the switches don't seem to activate the pump...no green light comes on either. All other things are working in the coach. I'm now connected to city water and power. No voltmeter available. I see a four wire panel next to the pump with green and yellow LEDs...neither are illuminated but not sure if they should.

First, as stated above, try pulling the fuse and exchanging it with another one just to rule that out. Second, check for an inline fuse near the pump. Third, That pump has an electric pressure switch in the front plastic housing. If the pressure is above the preset cutoff it will not come on. Try lightly tapping that housing (near where the wires come out of the plastic housing at the front of the pump head) sometimes they will stick. And a light tap will free them.

Without a circuit tester we are flying in the dark here. If you have power at the pump the issue is most likely the pressure switch is stuck. If no power you have a wiring/ power issue. Have you tried lightly tapping the black pressure switch housing? If we assume you have power, That pressure switch is only held on by two screws. You can try removing the pressure switch and see if it is free. There is a little plunger in there that operates a micro switch. No pressure the pump runs, when it gets up to pressure the switch cuts out the pump. If it is stuck open the pump will not run. Just to rule out the obvious, you have tried this with the city water off correct? City water pressure may keep the pressure switch shut off. Also there is water in your holding tank?

The green light you refer to, did that light come on and stay on as long as the switch was on or did it only come on when the pump was actually running?

If it came on all the time when the switch was on, chances are you have a power problem. Not sure where you are camped but maybe the camp store has a test light you can buy or a fellow camper has a test meter you can borrow.

I will try after dinner. There is water in the tank and I was doing all this with city water off. Even if the pressure switch is stick wouldn't the pump switch at least light up?

The green light would be on if the pump was on, even when not pumping water

Look behind the panel in the wetbay for the WPC145 (water pump controller) There are a couple of status LEDs on it...is one illuminated?

It's also a good location to use a multimeter to see if you are getting power. Power there...no pump...maybe a bad pressure switch in the pump.
