What is the term for the water pump relay? I thought it was called a "latching" relay but can't find one.

If you kneel down, while facing your wet bay, look up to your left, under the white panel that has all your controls and valves. It's on the side wall, just a little higher than the lower edge of the panel.

Thanks. Mine is behind the water bay board. It quit working on a recent trip. just wanted to get one coming. This is the second time it has failed. I'm going to add a bypass that will allow me to turn the pump on from the bay. I'm sure if I do that, the controller will never fail again.

Make sure you buy an Intellitec model, not the one that Newmar uses. The latching relay just connects the ground to the water pump when a water pump switch is turned on. If you want a back up, wire a another ground wire to the wire coming off of the water pump. Put a heavy alligator clip on one side and leave it wrapped up. If your latching device quits, just connect the alligator clip to a ground, like the door striker. The pump will be on all the time, but will only run when there is a demand.
