Water Streak Removal

Does anyone have a good suggestion for cleaning the streaking caused by the condensation/rain run off? I am beginning to notice it mostly to the left of the door since we obviously look at that more than the other spots where there is runoff.

Thanks!

Paint or glass? Paint griot’s complete compound will do the job but if it’s on the glass I can’t help you, also please add your coach info on your signature line usually helps a lot.

"Awesome" on paint ($1.00 at quart a dollar store or Dollar General).
Rubbing alcohol on glass with a micro fiber towel, then windex, then RainX or 303 sealant.

303 sealant is good for paint and glass. I prefer it over RainX.

I use 303 sealant after washing the coach. While wet, spray 303 on it and walk away. (Assuming you have soft water and use a deionoizer).

The streaks are usually from chalking of the rubber roof material and a roof cleaning a couple of times a year will really help.

RV Black streak remover and drip rail extensions .

A couple coats of polymer sealant will help shed it and make removal easier in future.

Mr Clean Magic Eraser - wet thoroughly w/water - rub with light to moderate pressure - can use a bit of any soap you use on the coach - we use Johnson's Baby Wash ...

Be careful w/ Mr Clean Magic Eraser on paint - many don't believe it but they are abrasive - look it up. The melamine foam itself is almost as hard as glass and likely to damage paint if used extensively.
If used to clean glass that's a different story.

The package warning (like many) suggests a small test area. The problem is one small test is not likely to show significant damage but microscopically it will be there and with repeat uses the increased amount of fine scratches will begin to show

A clay bar and detailing spray will remove it with very little effort. Spray the area with a light mist of detailing spray. Gently rub the area with a clay bar and the straks and hard water marks will be lifted off.
