I'm very curious as to what Newmar will gain (and loose) though their association with Winnebago. I've always been impressed with Newmar's products and would hate to see their product line or their follow up services suffer. I understand companies must grow but growth-for-growths-sake can weaken a product's value.
We'll be bringing our Ventana back to Nappannee in April to see if there's any noticeable difference.
One thing I know for sure - there is a severe lack of qualified RV mechanics in the U.S. We've had the need to use service centers around the country in the last few years and when we go back we never seem to find the same good people. At the 2019 Florida Newmar Rally we heard management talking about a joint venture "RV Repair Academy" that they wanted to start to build a larger team of mechanics at home and around the US. I hope Winnebago will help with that.
