We're picking it up Thursday! We're going to spend a night or two in a campground right near the dealership which will give us the chance to check for any issues, as well as to insure we know how to work everything. This coach has more bells and whistles than our precious motorhome.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who took time to 'chat' and answer our questions concerns! Maybe we will meet up out on the road some time!

They should give you a PDI when you pick it up. That's when they tell you what's where and how it works. I'm not sure how current your old coach was, but you probably already have the basics down pat. Concentrate instead on the little things, that most of us first timers miss because of feature shock. The how would I do this or how would I change that. Both of you should pay close attention, so what one misses, the other may hear.
Good Luck with that new coach, and welcome to the Newmar family!

X2 on getting the PDI. You may also consider videoing your PDI--we did, and have referred to it a couple of times even though we have been at this motorhome thing since 1982. There is a bunch of information to absorb, and at our age, it's hard to remember everything!
Enjoy your new coach--you will love it!!

And the good news is, if you miss something, all you have to do is post a question here and you will have an answer before you know it.
Enjoy the day!!!

Congratulations on your new coach! We love our 2016 Bay Star 3004. We bought it off the lot, but it came with lots of extras - 50 amp electric, back window, dual AC, heated tank pads, Polar-Pak insulation in roof, solar wiring, etc. This is our first MH, upgraded from tent camping! We shopped and researched for a year and we kept coming back to Newmar because of all the positive reviews and we liked the quality - they just seem to be more well built. Wishing you years of enjoyment!

Register your coach on Newgle as soon as you can. The paper owner's manual is really generic. Newgle will access the exact components that are on your coach. It's awesome.

Hi!
Never heard of Newgle. Thought at first your auto correct spelled "Newgle" instead of "Newmar"!
We got online last night....done!
Thanks very much!

The only problem, if you can call it one, is the black water dump valve will leak a bit if there is anything in the tank when you are traveling. Be sure to have a small bucket to catch the runoff when you remove the dump pipe cap...and some rubber gloves, I use the disposalable food service ones.
I installed plywood floooring in some of the compartments to secure my tool box and extra equipment and compartmentalized the electrical umbilical compartment...half for the satellite dish the other for the power cable. Enjoy your Newmar, we really like ours...six months a year in the coach and we still like each other.
