Weather Pro big awning and slide awning covers peeling.

Has this happened to anyone else and can it just be repainted after cleaning. Interesting that it looks like it was a plastic coating vs paint. It can be peeled off easily and comes off in straight strips.

Yes they will peel when the adhesive dries out between the two sheets of vinyl, happened to my 03.
You will need to replace the slide topper covers.

Thanks 007. I'd really like to just paint it if I can get down to bare metal. I am waiting to hear back from Dometic CS.

Looks like the weather shield peeling not the fabric on the topper. Mine are peeling on my 2010. I plan to paint some day when I get motivated enough. I believe in doing it right the first time, so that means removing from coach and slide topper material and removing old paint to bare metal before repainting.

Just heard back from Dometic today. Their reply was can't paint so need to replace cover and fabric. Not going to happen. I most likely will take it down to back metal and paint.
