Wet bay lock not included in remote locking function?
Noticed today that out of all of my cargo bay doors, *only* the wet bay door does not respond to the remote lock/unlock function. The *key* works just fine; I can lock/unlock with the key as expected. But the wet bay neither locks nor unlocks when any of the remote lock/unlock buttons are pressed (on key fob, on button below passenger seat, using entry door lock code).
Before I go investigating as to where there might be something disconnected/broken, I thought I'd first ask if this is possibly by *design*. Is the wet bay *supposed* to lock using the remotes, or is that by intentionally left "disconnected" to it can only be locked/unlocked manually?

On our 2019 DS all bay doors lock when you hit the remote. I have had them stick occasionally. Pull the plastic cover off and see if anything is loose or binding. I also regularly lube the mechanism’s.

I occasionally find my Oasis compartment door not locked on my 2015 4018 DS. Haven't checked so far to see when it became unlocked and if it then didn't lock when the remote lock button was pushed. Just haven't taken the time to really find out what the basis of the problem is, usually just lock it with the key and go on about whatever project I'm working on. Laziness I guess.

Hi Tom - On both a '18 and '20 DS 4369 the wet bay locked and unlocked remotely. You have an issue. Put a meter on it and see if the solenoid is getting the signal. If so, it may be bad or dirty. If not, then start following the wiring.

The wire came out of the connector on one of my doors. As others have said, take the plastic cover off to inspect, then follow the wiring.

Thanks all for the insights/pointers. Having confirmed it's not *intended* behavior, I'll start the inspection process, and hopefully readily discover something like a disconnected wire! :-) RV's in storage, half hour away, so I only get to go work on it periodically. Will report back once resolved, in case the info proves helpful to others.
Thanks!
Tom

It is included I have 3 bay doors not unlocking Weak Actuator motors.
Getting some new ones to replace the weak ones.

Be sure to check the wiring. A loose wire can cause more than one door to not operate properly. The loose wire can be in a door that is operating. I had one door not operating and a few that operated intermittently. The cause was a poor crimp on a wire connector.

Thank you for the tip, that makes sense if they are all on the same circuit.

Just following up to "close out" the thread.
Ended up discovering a loose wire under the black plastic panel inside the wet bay door, on the side by the latch. Took that panel off, and one of the two wires had pulled out of the crimped-on connector. Reconnected the wire and all is good! :-)
