Wet bay temperature control

I have a 2019 ventana and I'd like to be assured my wet bay temperature control is working. I've been having some trouble with my oasis heating. I sometimes get cold air blowing and sometimes don't have domestic hot water but haven't gone thru the oasis troubleshooting manual yet. I've attached a picture of what I believe is the separate temp sensor for the wet bay heat exchanger. I think I've seen where I can put an ice cube to it to verify the exchanger function. I do get hot water with the bypass switch so I know the coolant is up to temperature. Does the thermostat need to be set to FURN to get the wet bay exchanger to run. Is the wet bay function at all related to the Summer loop or Loop 1/2 oasis heat loops?

On mine zone 3 must be on furnace for the wet bay to be on. The ice cube will work. Mine comes on about 40 deg.

Set the thermostat to furnace on zones 1&3. Zone 2 off. The loop one and two pumps are for heat and hot water. I do believe it is zone 3 for the wet bay heat. If you are not using the furnace and can only get hot water with the bypass switch on then, you likely have a failure of the summer loop pump.

For those with 2 zones, rear zone (bedroom) must be set to furnace to have wet bay heat operate. The inside can be set to any temp. as the wet bay temp switch will call for heat.

Ok. Well that might explain part of the problem. I have an intermittent E1 on the rear (only 2) zone. Yesterday I cleaned all the RJ11 connectors of both ACs, 2 on each board and 2 connector type under the insulated cover on each AC. The E1 seemed to reappear when it gets very cold. Now that the rear zone is working can I simply pull the wires from the wet bay thermostat and bypass it to verify the fan comes on?

Is it quite possible that the E1 on my rear AC/FURN was leading to all my confusion. With the E1 gone and AC1 and burner enabled I get these which are likely the correct results:

A call for hot water:
Lights: summer loop, domestic water
Summer pump runs

A call for zone 1 heat:
Lights: heat loop 1, zone 1 fan, zone 1 thermostat
Zone 1 pump runs

A call for zone 2 heat
Lights: heat loop 2, zone 4 fan, zone 4 thermostat
Loop 2 pump runs

The zone pumps don't seem to vibrate as much as the summer loop pump which I can't explain since they're all the same pump.

I tried the ice cube on the wet bay thermostat with no luck.

Get a can of the compressed air at Home Depot. Turn it upside down and spray on the sensor. It’s how I check my freeze sensor on my alarm system.
