I think the correct line-up for Newmar gas MH's is Mountain Aire, Kountry Star, Scottsdale.

What is the line-up in the DP's?

What is the line-up in the 5th wheels?

Let's noy forget the All Star mid engine "A". I don't know where one would slate that in, however, like the New Aire, it may be short lived.

And, you forgot the London Aire - which is definitely King of the Hill. But as of so far you have to run Newmar to have one.

MARK: I think I read somewhere Newmar plans to allow only three (3) dealers to sell the LADP, and they require 50% down at time of order. That is a little too for me! ED

I know someone with a Northern Star. Where would you place it in the line-up?

The Northern Star was a taller version of the Kountry Star with a few more amenities. It would have been slotted in between the KSDP and DSDP except they discontinued it because it wasn't a real hot seller. With all the class As seeming to grow in interior height every year I can see why it really wasn't needed.

Basically they (Newmar) discontinued the Northern Star because it was to tall of a unit height wise, so for 2006 Newmar increased all the diesl pushers to basically the same exterior height as the discontinued Northern Star go figure. Ed.S

To; RVROSE and other Newmar fans;

Currently have an 02 loaded, a lot of custom work, almost $14k over all options and base prices, Mountain DP ,floor plan #4097, new plan, not listed in NADA books yet, 41' ,400 Cummins, ISL

We went out to Charlotte, Michican, the Spartan chassis factory in May, 05 to have warranty work and other routine maintanance done.

While there, I saw, went inside of, underneath and thourghly inspected ? the new London Aire proto-type, Sparton was changing the brakes from drum to disc, 34 wheels after 5,000 mile testing.

Quite a rig, massive looking, it was up on jack stands, but I was in it a half dozen times while there.

The interior was without cabinet doors, appliances, bath and kitchen fixtures and some lighting. The walls, window trim, corian cup-holder for co-pilot, extra fancy, looked like molded plastic,or some type of composite trim around slide-outs. I can only imagine what the finished unit will look like,
.
It, in my opinion will be classier than the Blue Bird, Newell, Fortravel and most of the under $1 million coaches I've seen and been in .

Outside, this unit had a 600 hp, Cummins,which took up most of the width in engine compartment, a big red monster.

A beautiful coach proto-type, being extensively fine- tuned , so the best it can be will be offered for sale, I hope, I can only dream, but maybe I can buy a used one 4-5 years from now.

My advice to anyone that can afford $800-$900k should buy,I think you'll be happy.

Hope this info is of interest to some.

Thanks====== AJBJRVERS

To; RVROSE and OTHERS;

ONe mistake I made in the above posting;

" changing from drum to disc brakes, 34 ????

should be changing all wheels to disc.

If anyone has seen any newer info re; above, release date, picture etc., please let me knw.

Thanks again and sorry for the typo
