What are these for?
2019 Canyon Star 3627. Inside the propane bay on the wall toward the rear of the motorhome and up toward the top there are these two control modules each with a red and green LED plus a relay. Any idea what they control? The bottom one of them is chattering but I can't find anything that doesn't work as it should.

Chattering make me think "relay" of some kind.
Can you follow the wire protection and see where it ends up? Wires look to be #12 or smaller so it's not a high current application.

A chattering relay in the propane bay -- what could possibly go wrong?

With a brand new coach, my first call would be to Newmar for accurate answers. All the best.

Odd
Looks like the batteries there in the background. Odd to see them next to LP tank. Sorry can’t help with identifying parts.

Propane is in the tank and the relay is not.

Folks at Newmar are gone for the day. Tried that. Thanks.

My 2015 Ventana 4360 has one of these modules mounted in the battery bay. Mine is a thermostatic switch that is connected to a 12V heat tape on the water line to the refrigerator. The water line is mounted under a slide and is somewhat exposed to the elements - the heat tape keeps it from freezing. The module supplies 12V when the temp falls below 40º.

Thanks. I just talked to Newmar and that's exactly what they said. I have 2 because my water heater is in the slide so one is cold water and the other hot water. I don't have a sink in the slide but my ice maker (refer) is in the slide.
Now, to figure out why it's clicking. I disconnected it since I have antifreeze in the lines but still need to figure out what the problem is.

Last winter my module went bad and would not turn on. I don't recall any clicking (probably because it wasn't working). Believe the module cost $40-ish but I replaced under warranty.

I don’t about your particular control module but I used to work with industrial controllers. The clicking is probably the control module cycling the heater relay to control the water line temperature. There is probably a sensor attached the the line to monitor temp. If so, the clicking is normal. You should be able to monitor the voltage to the heater and see that the voltage going on and off coincides with the relay clicking. I would think there should be a way to turn off units during winter storage. Another call to Newmar probably.

Turns out that one of my waterline heaters has in internal short. When the thermostat clicks on the short causes an overload and trips the auto reset CB and de-energizes the relay. When the CB resets the thermostat continues to call for heat and the shorted heat strip starts the cycle all over again.
Changing the heat strip looks like more than I want to tackle and it's likely there may be damage to the thermostat. I'll put it on the list of things for Newmar to repair when I go to the factory in the spring.
I guess it's just one of the joy's of buying a new unit instead of a nearly new used unit. I knew better but the new ones are so shiny. Now I get to deal with all the infant mortality. If I didn't own a motorhome I wouldn't have anything to spend my retirement on since I'm not a golfer.
