What is this? 2016 Canyon Star.

Under my cabinet, slide side, and above the couch. No clue what it is?

Hi Wesslvm,
Like others have posted, it is the thermistor that the thermostat uses to send the signal when heat or A/C is needed. I'm glad they started placing them where you posted.

Yep, temperature sensor. Had them in our last two Dutch Stars and now in the Magna.

Has anyone checked the accuracy of the remote sensor? Is there anyway to adjust it?

Thanks for the info on the sensor. I always wondered
what that was.

Mine are on the walls in seemingly odd places. A hot day can heat up the driver's window and transfer the heat to my zone 1 temp sensor quickly. That area can be 85-90 degrees while the rest of the living area is comfortable. So instead of "adjusting" the sensitivity (if you can do such a thing to calibrate it) we just know to set the thermostat accordingly higher or lower depending on how we are parked and the outside temperature/sun exposure.

My front sensor, which is in the T'stat and located in a good place, is three degrees off. At least on the 5 button CCC there is no way to calibrate it. Maybe with the new CCC2 there is.

Hi wildtoad,
Best I know there is no way to adjust the thermistor or thermostat. Like others have posted, I have an independent thermometer and adjust the coach temperature accordingly.

I hung a digital thermometer by the thermostat to monitor actual temps. Of course, I'm not really sure its all that accurate either. Sometimes it makes no sense. I just run the temp down until the AC makes it comfortable to me. I know its right when I'm comfortable and the DW is complaining she's coooold....
