What is this?

I found this rubber tip on the top stair near the passenger seat. Does anyone know where it is supposed to be attached? I've looked at the passenger seat and the entry door but have not seen any "naked" corners. Thank you.

Never mind - I found it.

As usual, once you stop thinking about something, the answer pops into your head. That rubber tip was from the foot of a camera tripod! It came to me while I was in the middle of another project.
