What is this remote for?
Does anyone recognize what this remote is for? I found two of them in a drawer, and can't figure out what they are for. The left button is green and says "on", and the right is red and says "off". I've walked around inside and out pressing on and off and nothing happens. I originally thought it might be for the Fantastic Fans, but nope. There is no markings, model no, or name brand anywhere on it.

Could it be the arming fob for an alarm system.

As far as I know, I don't have an alarm, or keyless entry.

There is a unit that will plug in to the wall outlets that you can turn off with a remote. Maybe this is what that is. Some are using this to turn off a TV so it won't come on with the same remote. Might check to see if you might have a remote switch. Hope you find what they do it might even be in one of the bay's.

What are this remote for?
I bought a wireless Switch that came with a similar Key Fob! Maybe a previous Owner wanted to rig a remote to operate:
The Outside Light?
The Genset?
An Interior Accessory?
There are so many things that can be controlled using R F /Solenoids!

Is it possible that pressing the buttons doesn't do anything because it needs a new battery?

I'll have to try the TVs tomorrow, I never thought of that. I'm assuming the battery is good. When you press either button, the red light in the corner lights up. Thank for the suggestions everyone.
