What this ???

I just bought a 2000 Dutch Star and on the cabinet on the left side of the bed there is a small white round plastic grill like disk. I took the 2 screws out of it and behind it was a wire that looks like a microphone. What is it? Can any Dutchstar owners enlighten me?

X2
I had the same problem, a lot of "sales" people didn't know either so don't feel bad.

Yep, we had them in both our 2000 3865 and 2002 4090 DSDP's.

I like thedjjack comment best. For awhile there I was getting paranoid, thinking someone was listening. Thanks to all for clearing this question up.

Hey ARFFMAN, what model number is your DSDP? We just recently bought a 2000 DSDP 3859 and really like it.
