What water pressure are you running?
We are coming out of a 2013 Tiffin Phaeton. DSDP on order. On the Phaeton we would run 60-65 lbs water pressure on the regulator. Will Newmar safely handle that pressure?

I've always heard "no more than 60 PSI", so that's the highest I run my regulator.

Same here... It actually says in my water bay to limit incoming water pressure to 60psi.

I run even lower- about 50. I'm also one of those people who shuts the spigot off when I leave for the day.

Mine is set to 50 psi and that seems to be about the same as at home. It's plenty for me.

When I used City Water Connection the Reg was set for 50# Static Pressure
But since 2008 I use fresh water tank/pump exclusively
Same/consistent pressure regardless of where we camp and a simple flip of the switch...no water

I’ve only been in one park were a pressure regulator was needed. Most parks I’ve tested have around 40 psi., so regulators aren’t even needed. I never put one on if I don’t see 60+psi on the pressure gauge.

1. You can set your regulator to 60-65psi, but if the park pressure isn’t there your regulator won’t boost it. In 9 years fulltiming I’ve only been to maybe three or four parks that ran over 60psi. 50-55psi is pretty common, as is 40psi. I have my regulator set to 60, and I’ve got a pressure gauge on both sides. Input and output are usually the same, at about 50 or so.
2. Most PEX is rated at 160psi (74*F) and 100psi (180*F). So yes, I would venture that your new Newmar will safely handle 65psi just fine, when you run across it.

Mine is set between 45 and 50, so far no problems.
