Wheel Alignment

Because our coach is older and I did not know the condition of the alignment I took it in to have it checked. It was out and I learned that they aligned both the front and rear. They also set the tire pressure according to the Toyo weight chart. When taking it back to the storage building it seamed to drive better but was so windy it was hard to tell.

RV Alignments are an art... I was curious on the suspension used on the unit.. It is adjustable , fully, not easy but with a proper alignment machine/system..... it can be done, and todays alignments do adjust of the read wheel base line to give you a straigt steering wheel..

Cool you found a good place to accomplish this..

I need an alignment and it is a little art and science. Fortunately I am in SC right now so I can just go to Gaffney and let the pros do it.

I was at Gaffney and asked them to check the alignment. The mechanic said he didn't want to charge me $400 unless it was necessary, so he drove it around and checked tire wear and said I was fine.

Got mine done last year by a spartan approved shop in Appleton Wi.
it was $450 or so and they did ride adjust that was way off and steering wheel straight that was off alignment was just off a bit.....Best money I spent as I was ridding on the bump stops they said..

Smart to have them align it. However, unless they also did a 4 corner weight your tire pressures aren't "perfect" for your coach/load.

I took it out yesterday for a drive. The wind was low and I could really feel the difference. It was much improved. The coach did not wander in the lane as before. Not sure if it was the alignment or correct tire pressure that made the difference. Very glad I had it checked.
