When is clock on Oasis running

Never gave it a thought before, but just wondering when the Oasis clock is actually running. Any time power is on at the Oasis unit, whenever either burner or AC I &II is turned on, only when the burner is on and burning, or only when hot water is called for in the coach?

Not using the coach at all this year but have used the Oasis a few times during sudden cold spells.

Should just be while the burner is operating.

Should be when the burner/combustion fan is operating. We are pretty much always in warm weather, so the only time my burner runs is when I test it out periodically. One day I noticed that the combustion fan was operating even though the burner switch was off. After I observed this several times, and contacted ITR, they determined it was a control board issue and I installed a new board. Problem fixed. I checked the hour meter, and I expected it to have maybe 10 hours due to use only when testing it, but it had several hundred hours logged due to the control board issue. ITR confirmed that the meter would operate when the fan was on.

I wonder if your hour meter for the Oasis is as underused as ours. I insist on using it whenever we use the coach and the hour meter is only about 130 hours.

I just replaced one of the zone pumps and that was one of my questions to ITR, he said the hour meter also runs when you have the AC1 AC2 on.

No kidding !

Pretty sure the hour meter on my Aqua Hot only runs while the burner is running.

It is definitely only when the diesel is running based on our usage.

If you get in the bay beside of it you can look through the rails and see the hour meter, at least you can on mine,

I've got 160 hours on my 2017, and I run the burner quite a bit. I run my genset even more, and I have logged 372 hours there. With about 23000 miles on the coach, how does this compare to others?

The hour meter does not run when the heat is set to AC1 AC 2.

I am sure mine only runs when the oil burner operates. Someone mentioned it runs off the combustion fan. That makes sense that they would do it that way.

Correct-- I had a failure in the oasis control board that rans the combustion fan randomly even when the unit was turned off. It racked up the hours I contacted ITR and they confirmed that to be the case. A new control board solved the issue.
