Cool Where did she go?

All of a sudden the lady that tells me to check the seats and unlock the slides and in 5 seconds the slide will start to go out is gone...only indication before slide moves is a little static. I will assume the recording is on a smart chip or something. Behind the button is the speaker. Has anyone experienced this and if so what is the fix...?

Due to a downturn in the economy, she was laid off. She was replaced by a static chip!

There's a two wire plug on the slide control module that you can check. Mine did it and it turned out the control module had to be replaced. It worked fine for about a year without the voice working and then it started stopping and starting when going out. I replaced the module and it fixed both problems.

Drop the display panel and check wiring behind it for loose wiring to spk or control button. Vibration will loosen up spade clips some times.
