Where does the bathroom sink drain?

I have 2016 Bay Star Sport 3004. In previously owned motorhomes the bathroom sink drained into the black tank. Is that the case in my Bay Star or does it drain into the gray water tank?

Thanks,

easy to find out - pull your gray tank slider and leave it open, then, while you are watching your hose, have someone run water into the bath sink - if you see water draining into the sewer hose, you'll know it's coming through the gray tank, otherwise it is going into the black tank.

if you don't have a clear sewer connector to see the draining, just remove the sewer hose and wait for the water to come out(it's just water after all!)...

Most have lav plumbed to grey tank, some have lav plumbed to black tank. There are differing schools of thought, neither one is wrong nor better. Easiest/best is to check it as described above.

Hi mikebo,
On a Newmar coach, sinks drain into the grey water waste tank.

On my 3710, the half bath sink drains to that black tank, the full bath toilet has its own black tank and the sink drains to grey tank as does the shower and kitchen sinks.

I would think if you have a single bath floor plan that only your toilet goes to your black tank.

Thanks, It sounds like it probably goes into the grey tank. I'm not able to check it right now since I'm parked on a grade in my drive and the tanks won't drain without adding a lot of water that I can't readily drain.

Mike, I was talking to Steve Moser at Newmar the other day and he assured me the bath sink drains into the grey.

Wes has the answer if you have a 1/2 bath in your coach, the full bath and shower would drain into the gray tank and its toilet would have its own black tank.
This is for mostly gas coach's, for DP's you have a new ball game with one black tank shared by two macerating toilets fighting over who was going to fill the black tank first.
