plus you don't get fresh ground. I use a grinder every morning too, both at home and on the road. I do a pour over brew every morning 7 days a week.

We used to carry a coffee maker on the kitchen counter as others have mentioned.

Our drip coffee maker resides in the cabinet under the sink until we take it out that night, put on the tiny bit of counter we have and set it up for the morning. Not a lot of hassle and one less thing for DH to worry about when driving down the road

X3!

The rubber mesh stuff also works great to keep my cell phone on the dash when needed.

We wrap our Kuerig coffee maker and toaster in a couple of pieces of left over cabinet drawer liner material and place in the kitchen sink. They fit below the rim so that putting the countertop covers over them is not an issue if we want to (but we typically don't), as well we lay the paper towel dispenser and sink scrubbing brush and cup holder in the sink along with those items. Easy in and easy out!

No...no heroism. I am just too weak. It was in our house, and I moved it out to the coach for a trip to W.NC. When we returned home, I thought to myself --- she's too heavy to move back and forth. So, the coach won out. It's been a great excuse to go "check on coach" each morning.

Edit: On my second double as I type...

We use a small cheap 16 buck K cup we got from the dollar store and it stores up above the sink....Jura ..The best coffee I have ever had always comes from a Jura but at 2 to 3 grand I just cannot convince myself to buy one.

I know a lot has changed over the years with electronics, but after blowing 3 coffee makers in our 2004 HR Imperial, we switched to a French press. Was spoiled with our Rhapsody that had an instahot dispenser, so very little to store. Need to get one installed in our NA and won't have to worry about boiling water. Gotta admit K cups are much easier cleanup though.

We put the Mr. Coffee and an espresso maker in a cabinet right above the sink. Secured with two spring tension rods. They fit perfect. No moving around or banging around.
