Where is my oil dip stick and filler?

I am embarrassed to ask such a question, but I always have my oil checked pre trip by my repair center.

I am now in the middle of a long trip and felt it was time to check and maybe top off the oil on my Cummins 400 ISL (side radiator) on a Spartan Chassis.

When looking in the engine compartment, I see the transmission dip stick, on the left but where is the oil dip stick and filler cap?

Our MH is a different year and has a Cat C7 engine but is an 05 KSDP with a rear radiator. To check oil and radiator just open rear opening to see the engine and dip sticks are clearly marked and radiator cap is on top of surge tank. On radiator cap as you try to turn it keep a downward pressure on cap. Good luck

UPDATE: Found dipstick, but still wonder where to find the oil filler cap. Looked in my Cummins manual and did not find a pictorial.

On the ISL engine there is typically 2 oil fill locations, on top of the valve cover or on the rear cover, usually very easy to find. Take a picture of the engine compartment...

Hi Craig36,
If it is the same as mine, the oil filler is at the top of the rear opening and toward the right (passenger) side.
