Where to buy 5/8” plastic pex fittings

I want to install an accumulator after the water pump by inserting in 5/8” braided hose. I can’t find them. Anyone know where?

You may have to use a PEX to threaded fitting and then use a 5/8” hose with threaded connectors. I don’t think you will find a 1/2” PEX to 5/8” hose fitting.

I can tell you, after many hours of research that a 1/2" PEX pipe fitting with a 1/2" PEX pipe on that fitting will take a 1/2" PEX clamp.

A 1/2" PEX pipe fitting with a braided 1/2" hose on that fitting will take a 9/16" PEX clamp. Those clamps can only be purchased from Newmar, because Newmar orders those clamps from the PEX manufacturer.

Looks like braided hose is larger than PEX fitting/pipe by 1/16".

BTW, Newmar has 5/8" that are used in building their rigs--no assortment, nor can they tell me where they buy them. Attached is a pix of my water inlet that I replaced because of a failed check valve. Disregard the male hose fitting. All the fittings are 5/8". The fitting which goes from the blue pex to the elbow elbow is a 5/8" PEX to 1/2" mpt. ALL the pinch clamps are 3/4" clamps- even the 2 on the blue pex. The number stamped on them is 23.3, which is the same as my bag of Sharkbite 3/4" clamps.

I have decided to use 2ea 3/4" x 5/8" couplers and a 3/4x 3/4 x 1/2" Tee and just plumb from the Tee to the accumulator tank with 1/2" pex. A little bit of a kludge--but it will work. Both Lowes & Home Depot have the parts--the couplers will be shipped free to store.

I surflo makes some nice fittings. They are 1/2 hose fittings. I like them because they have thumb grips to tighten. On 4 of camper I have used them. They have a 90 degree and stright. I buy a 10' camco white water hose it reinforced and I cut off what I need. Make sure you buy the 1/2 inch hose. I have never found a fitting for the 5/8 hose that works well.

I have gotten the fittings off amazon and bought them at my local rv shop. They are cheaper at the local rv store.
