Today Loveland CO snow Ice and Big Fires

Left Surprise AZ in July 100+ temps came to Colorado Front Range. Now getting ready to leave and return to AZ as it is 13 degrees and snowing out today. Last weekend fire from Cameron Peak was rather close scary especially the loss of land, animals, and people.

I posted a week ago and didn't realize I didn't attach the photo!

According to the rules:

Low country boil dinner. When it blew up a bit of a storm we found that nine adults and four kids could fairly comfortably eat dinner in an old Kountry Aire.

the PWN is my fav place to explore and you never disappoint. when I see your post in the daily email recap you are always the first one I look at. plus, you make me feel lazy (aka motivated) by of the volume of locations you hit. you are always somewhere new! thank you for sharing and keep doing it. you help me fill a journal of places to go.

Stone Mountain Heights

Beautiful sunrise this morning.

We have been at Stone Mountain Heights Campground for almost a week, but have been too busy to post a picture. We had power outages over the past 2 days due to Hurricane Zeta, but our generator performed beautifully.

Stone Mountain Heights is in Stone Mountain, GA (near Atlanta) and has paved roads, gravel sites, and 50 amp FHU sites. Excellent OTA TV, Good Verizon, WiFi available only near the office.

Finally on the road!

We left NIRVC Las Vegas on Monday after some chassis service and tow set up. Now heading to Minnesota for holidays with family after a visit to the Petrified national Forest in NM on Tuesday. Be safe everyone!

Bodega bay. The CG has its +’s and -‘s but over all having a good time in a beautiful spot. Full hookups are costing me $125/night which is more than most resorts and this is a run down parking lot at a marina (Porto Bodega) where the rules are even considered, much less enforced, but it has other attributes.

Oh and it’s a packed house full of all night parties because it’s crab season so you take the good with the bad - unlimited fresh crab, but hard to get much rest for a light sleeper.

Boogey Lights - Florence, KY

Got our Christmas lights today!
Boogey Lights is a first rate family run operation!
Brothers Brian & Brad, sons Taylor & Brandon in the service bay with wives & sisters running parts, shipping & misc.
The whole shop & service area was impeccably clean, and we watched much of the installation which would likely impress the Newmar assembly crew!
Highly recommend them!

Along I-40...

On Hwy 40 from Arizona to Oklahoma. Had hoped to make more progress, but 12 hours of mostly rain and some heavy traffic in Amarillo today did me in. So at a quiet little park in Elk City Ok with 50amp power, getting caught up on dishes, laundry, showers, dumping tanks, etc. All for $34. And the rain finally let up.

After 2 1/2 days at N. Las Vegas Freightliner (Velocity Truck), including Thanksgiving in their lot, it’s nice to get things back to “normal”. Over 1000 miles and no codes since yesterday afternoon , so maybe we are good to

A lot of folks would probably consider his park a little lacking and pass it by, but right now it’s a little slice of heaven

R.Wold,

You mentioned codes. Can you tell me which ones they were.

I was going to post about a bad experience I had Sunday night when I saw your post. Interested in what you had and what was done to fix them.

I still have a Cummins code 559 that I need to have someone look at.

Any info would be appreciated. I would be very happy to talk with you if possible and would not be imposing.

Thanks,
David C.
