Cain’s Creekside RV Park

We left central FL this morning and headed north. Our first stop is Hahira, GA at Cain’s Creekside RV Park, which is about 2 miles off I-75. The first entrance to the park required us to literally drive across the lake (see photo). We opted for another entrance that kept us out of the water.

Passport America rate is $25 for a 50amp FHU gravel site.

Stone Mountain Park, GA

We arrived at the Stone Mountain Park Campground on Saturday and will be here for 2 weeks (the maximum stay). This campground is within the boundaries of Stone Mountain Park, just outside of Atlanta, GA. Sites are 50 amp FHU, and depending on the loop you choose can have cable TV, WiFi, paved sites, grills, and a small deck. All the roads are paved and sites are either gravel or concrete. Many sites have views of the lake and Stone Mountain. We are in site 152 which is on the "orange" loop.

Looks like the trees are still pretty leafless, at least as of a week ago. We plan to leave FL next week and hope see more leaves as we slow walk it to MI.
