Where's the battery

I've always been told there are no dumb question but this may be one. I have a 2005 DS and after sitting for 3 weeks it does not start. Where is the battery that turns the starter. I'm getting solenoid clicks but not enough juice to turn the engine. I want to remove the starter battery and have it tested, but I started looking for it and realized I could save some time and perhaps some knuckle flesh by asking a dumb question. Thanks

On my 04, and I think your 05 is the same,
The batteries are located at the Right Rear of the coach. (Passenger Side)
Open the door and you will see the pull-out tray with 6 batteries on it.
Two (connected together) are for the chassis that powers the starter.
The four connected together power the house to provide lighting etc. in the house.

On the dash you will also find a button labeled "BOOST". If you hold the boost button down while trying to crank the engine, it will connect the Chassis Batteries to the House Batteries and unless they are all dead, should give you the cranking power to get the engine started.

Good luck, if you need more information, don't hesitate to ask.

Dennis45 is correct. The batteries are located behind the passenger side rear cargo door. The batteries are on a pullout rack. In the front of the rack there is a handle that you have to pull out and up to unlock the tray. The tray is VERY heavy so be careful. When pulling out the tray watch the battery cables and don't pull so hard as to damage the cables. The tray will not come out far enough for you to look down into the batteries in the rear of the tray but does come out far enough to inspect them. If you plan on replacing the batteries you should take a picture of the current wiring setup so as not to cross connect them when you put the new one in. Also, you should have a picture of the proper battery wiring setup on top of the plate located on top of the tray handle, unless it has been worn away. Remember to take pictures or make a drawing of the current battery wiring before you remove them. Also, keep track of which batteries are 6volt and which are 12volt. iF You use a multi-meter to test the voltage it may indicate 12 volts but it definitely sounds like you do not have the amperage to turn the starter.
