Whirlpool Fridge on 2020 Ventana

How long does it typically take for the unit to get cold enough to load with food if its turned on empty ? Ballpark. The manual says 24 hours . I thought it would be faster than that since its a residential style fridge . Thanks!

We tried that once. Turned on and loaded around noon. Was the next morning before it seemed like everything was finally caught up and really cool. At our storage, we can leave it plugged in. If it is off we go and turn it on a couple of days before our trip. If we are going to be back out in a couple of weeks, we typically leave it on.
