Whirlpool Washer - Fault Code A-10

Seeking input from others whom may have encountered a problem with their stacked Whirlpool washing machine. Our's is acting up in that sometimes it works normal (completes a chosen cycle) and then sometimes it will stop mid-cycle and indicate an A-10 Fault Code (Drain Problem).

We've checked the drainage and the machine can and does drain like it supposed to do from what we can tell. We also maintain a practice of cleaning the machine per Whirlpool's instructions using the AFFRESH washing machine cleaner tablets.

Clueless, I can't figure out what is going on with this machine and of course we're on the road at this time, i.e. 2000 miles from our home base.

ANY suggestions, ideas (other than pulling the machine out of the cabinet and calling a Whirlpool tech)?

If you pop the lower panel off with a screwdriver, there is a black knob on the right side. unscrew this(make sure there is no water in the drum), use a rag because there is water inside the tube. Once you unscrew it you will find lint, coins, whatever was in your pockets! Make sure you use your finger and feel in to the left, there may be more stuff in there
