White deposits on OASIS tubes

I am very new to this MADP with the Oasis system. It is very complex, but at least so far we have hot water.

My concern at the moment is that there are white powdery deposits on the three fluid tubes I can see coming out (or in) of the equipment.

Is this a problem? Big concern, normal? Search did not help.

I tried to upload pictures, but the new system here is not allowing this.

I am replying to my own thread.............................

When I try to upload pictures, I get redirected to the USER CONTROL PANEL and cannot upload. Is anybody trying to fix the mess the new login people made? I hate to give up on this forum, but it is becoming quite irritating and to some extent useless.

Just noticing.

Tom

I would wipe the powder off and see if it returns. I had some on the threaded connector of one tube due to a slight fluid leak. The leak has stopped and no more white deposit.
As far as adding a photo, I don't think anything has changed. When you start a new thread you get the box at the top of which is the attachment icon (looks like a paper clip). If you click this is should take you to the attachment management page. There is a limit on how big the photo can be.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know how long the deposits have been there, but it's probably just since we got thing thing at Thanksgiving. The dealer must have cleaned it then. We didn't get out on the road until the end of June, so the total accumulation is from about then.

I'll watch it; I was just wondering if it's common, of it's a big problem.

WRGT the forum change, I have been a regular contributing member since 2012. I have posted a lot of photos and do know about the size limits. Now when I try to paperclip a photo, it gets redirected to the USER CONTROL PANEL and the photos can't be posted.

MY old screen name is TLGPE, but now I'm TOM GUY; actually I have always been Tom Guy, but now that's my screen name.

Anyway thanks for the help, as always.

Tom

I am at the FMCA rally and there is a Oasis tech here, I'll ask him your question today.

I talked to Randy who does service and repair. He showed me three new unused models that have a white power residue (some dry and some not yet but will be) it is a thread sealant that Oasis and Newmar both use. He did say it could be a leak that dried up. As others said wipe it off and see if it is leaking. Hope this helps.
