We have a new BSS 2813 on the way. Was surprised that it had no installed water filter. We have a RV Water Filter Store 2 stage filter that we used outboard on our Tiffin Wayfarer (the whole house was small and pretty useless).
Has anyone mounted a water filter in their BSS wet bay?

Mine came w/one still in its plastic wrapper. That said, your dealer owes you one. Although mine is not a BSS, I'd guess Newmar uses the same whole house filter on all their rigs.
Good luck

I run an inline filter from the water source to the wet bay inlet. From there it goes through the house filter canister then into the couch. Good tasting well filtered water is the result. Periodic changing of both filters and annual disinfection of all water lines with adequate flushing should be sufficient. If adding water through the passenger side port has it only going through the hose fitted filter.
More than that seems overkill, IMHO.
When I had a 2016 BSS I used an outside full house filter. I didn’t think the storage bays were tall enough to mount the filter vertically with room to remove the filter. I suppose if you use quick connect connections you could make it work.
