Kaye and Gene Woodward just arrived at Camp Newmar for minor warranty work starting 5/17. We are located in the third slot from the road on the west side of the main lot. Please stop by and say hello. Since we have a small dog we do not normally spend much time in the main office but usually stay with our dog in the secondary Newmar office and laundry down the road.

Plant Tour
We plan to stop June 1 - 3 for a plant tour. We're leaving Florida on the 25th and headed north and west to the Black Hills, Yellowstone and points west. We're unfamiliar with the Newmar plant area so if anyone has any suggestions as to what we should do when we get there, let us know.
Thanks, Jack

Jacksaunders, sounds like we have similar plans but a different time table. We plan to leave Florida mid June for a similar itinerary on a trip to Oregon. We'd like to visit Camp Newmar 10 - 13 July and also do the factory tour. Enjoy your trip. Bob

Well, I'm not there, but my coach is. Hopefully it will be ready by the end of the week and I can get down and get it. It seemed quieter than normal in Camp Newmar when I was there. What's up with that?

Curious
We just made an appointment for our warranty check-up in mid September and have a list of about 27 items (some listed as "check this, check that, etc."). And a few installation items.
How long was your list? Do they send you a packet of info for the appointment?
Where, exactly, do you park on their site? Where is Camp Newmar?
Don

Newmar sends a little info including a map of the area and you can add items to your list when you get there.
There are 24 50 amp full hook up sites at the factory at Arnott and Cheyenne streets and 24 additional sites at Delaware and Cheyenne streets, 16 w/50amp and water, 8 w/30amp.
The sites are first come, first served. If a site does not have a cone in it, then it's vacant.
On the first day of the appointment, have your rig ready for them to take it at 6 am. Jacks up, slides in, unplugged, etc.

We plan on stopping late this afternoon for parts and will stay overnight. Then to Duncan's for a on & off furnace problem.

Duncan's did their usual service and had us out and on our way with only a minimun bill and smiling faces. When you can't get to the factory, they're the best ! ! !
Took another tour while we were here and found they're making 17 units a week with only about 1/2 the workforce. Also, Darla (a very knowledgeble tour guide) is retiring in October.
Front service lot is all but full with mostly Newmars and the overflow has only 3 units including us
