So, this is kind of what I was wondering about. You got there Friday for a Monday appointment. Where did you camp Friday & Saturday?
We were here at Newmar in FHU since we were “next up” for service. Some people who got done with service last week stayed til Saturday and Sunday, and as they left new folks came in or came over from overflow. It all flows smoothly as people are arriving and leaving each day. We will be here til mid next week, minimum, as we need production paint (ask us how we learned about tailswing!) and they are apparently not working this week.

If the new CG is open then the understanding at this time is that your Coach number is going to admit you through the gate. You may get a site assignment by email. If the new sites are up and running and you don't know which site just call in on Friday and ask CS. In either case you print off the sheet you received in your appointment email and stick it in your front windshield lower right corner. Have your coach on the air bags and running with the slides in and disconnected from power, water and sewer at 6:00 AM they will find you. Your team leader will come to your coach and go over the work list with you and ask for any clarifications he needs as to your problems or issues.

If the new camp sites are not up and running then you use the same procedures at the old camp grounds. They will show up and find you. They may not get around to your coach until 6:30 or even a bit later but they will get to you. Each team has three, four or more coach's to sort out first thing in the morning. The next day is the same except they will be there at six and just take the coach to continue the work.

Guys were just out there testing a King Aire in several sites. I guess if the King can fit, we all can fit!

Hi - Looks great. Any word on the Grand Opening date yet? Also is there a parking area for toads and trailers? Can't put them in front of the coach as they need to move at 6 a.m. and the lot at the service facility seems to be needed for folks over there.

Wow! I wish I would have known that. If I had, I would have pushed for a Tuesday start. (I did ask and was denied.) We have 8 days scheduled, ending the following Wednesday so not like they needed a Monday-Friday time slot.

We scheduled in December for end of July. It definitely would have made things more relaxed for my planning. So now I'm trying to get there before Friday so we can talk to someone about dropping her off.

Seemed pretty inflexible to me. Doubt we'd go back.

No word on the opening date that isn’t pure speculation, lol.

There is an empty area across the street that will be available for stackers and trailers. Toads will be parked in front of the coach.

It seems that most service starts on Mondays - my service was only supposed to take 2-3 days, so they could fit it in. Eventually the service took 8 weeks. If someone needed only a day or 2 they could fill in the end of your service time with the other coach.

I bought my own orange cone. Will I be able to use it in the new CN?

NO - they have to be red now and you cannot paint your orange cone red.

Looks good, small, but good. Will check it out next week, who will be the first to drop off the pavement into that soft fill?

I don't see any numbers on the pedestals yet. I hope Newmar doesn't say "Take any available site" - then the problems will follow. i.e. You had a site this morning and in the afternoon, someone that just arrived has moved into it.

Has anyone ever gone to CN and not found a place to park? It’s amazing how many people stress this.
