Got here at 2:00 PM this afternoon and gate was working. Don't try to come in from the west on 6. The road is closed just west of Walkerton and requires a detour.

Thanks for the heads up. We’re headed there tomorrow. Is 6 open west of us31? I planned to pick it up there.

I found the road work on the IN road app. It is clear from us31.
Thanks again for the heads up

We were at the new campground a few weeks ago when the gates were first put in operation. Our code was wrong. Apparently there were a few more that were wrong, being I saw two coaches go around the dumpster to get in.

Newbee2 pulled into the old CN at about 1800 (6pm). About 5 slots open.

We are here for some unscheduled warranty work. Was here 3 weeks ago for scheduled work. We are headed to east coast so took a 50 mile detour to come here. Small fiberglass issue. Wouldn’t ya know it, four other issues came to light during our three day trip here.

Trying to get all done before our 9 month “camping trip”.

Thank you for your hospitality, it was a nice gesture and we had a good time. We are back home now, we hope your repair work went well.

For those of you at the new campground, we found a great restaurant, Rhue 152. It's on the main street going through town. A little expensive, but very good. Hamburgers are delicious, chicken sandwich delicious, perch and salmon delicious. It says bar and grill, but I think it's more a restaurant. Go out to the main street, turn left and it's down on the right. Parking in the back and an overflow lot back there, too. Lots of unique drinks.

Old Camp Newmar

We’re staying at the old (original) Camp Newmar. We have a reservation on Monday for the new extended factory tour.

We were there last Sept and for the most part kept our 2 cats in our SUV during the day. On a couple days that were warm, we used our large carrier and took them into the pet friendly waiting area. My DW used a plastic dish pan for a litter box for the car.

If anyone happens to be at Camp Newmar this week and plan on doing factory tour, look for our new DS #608727 that started production this week. Would love any pics if the opportunity arises! TIA

Airdale, reach out to Natalie Miller at Newmar (njmiller@newmarcorp.com). She took pics of our rig every step through the process until to was sent off to paint and sent us weekly updates. We asked her not to send anymore after it went to paint because we still wanted some level of surprise when we pick it up in two weeks

We arrived yesterday afternoon to the new CG across from the service center. Last year when we were here the CG wasn't even close to being done. It sure is nice now!

They did the customer lounge area up right, plus having the parts right there next to it worked great for us this trip. As always Newmar did it up right.

How exciting it must be to see your new coach being built!

I hope to experience this one day. I'm fifty years old now, so I hope that day comes soon.

I hope you enjoy your new coach!
