Arrived Sunday afternoon about 5:00pm. 48 of 52 spots were occupied!

This evening there are about 28-30 coached here. The Newmar Techs are servicing them & getting them out of here.

Appears our paint work is going to take longer than they thought. May be here til middle of next week!

Most of the warranty items have been corrected/fixed. Couple other things to fix. The techs waste no time.

Hope everyone on the East Coast is safe & sound from the "funny named" hurricane that I can't spell, nor pronounce!

Be safe!!

I was at the service center for my first time 3 weeks ago. Fantastic experience from start to finish. When I arrived on Sunday afternoon, 46 total spots full and 6 open around the perimeter. COVID screening was quick and easy each morning. I did a count for each coach noted below on Sunday night.
Ventana - 8
Dutch Star- 19
Mountain Aire - 9
London Aire -1
Essex -1
New Aire -1
King Aire -1
Canyon Star -1
Bay Star -5

I didn’t count them, but seems to be about 6-8 open slots. Probably more slots will open up after Saturday, as more coaches usually get finished by Friday.

We’ve been here 14 days.... lots of things taken care of, worst thing was oasis started leaking coolant on ground by about day 5, and turned out where the pressure cap attaches had separated from the rest of the boiler. Newmar has been great. New oasis arrived yesterday and hopefully gets installed today.

This is a little known phenomena experienced when you return your Newmar to the mother ship...it thinks its there to be recycled into a new coach and begins disassembling itself!!!

We need to get on that that this week. I had been waiting to see what college football was looking like. I think we know there is little chance of a season.

Are the full hookup sites that are at the factory which were once used for service still available? There were also some sites on the west side of factory area without sewer connections and wondering if these too still being used?
Thanks Newmar Man

We have not gone out to eat on any of the Sundays we have been here, but it appears there are choices. There are some pizza places, Burger King, Arby’s almost within walking distance. Seems most places close at 8pm at the latest.

Hunters hideaway says they are open 1100-2300 Sunday. Haven’t been there yet this trip. Just got in a couple of hours ago. They have always been good, at least for the last 5 years or so and I assume they still are. Route 6 looks open as we drove by. We got food poisoning from there the first time we ate and have not been back. Looking forward to Dutch Kitchen and their haystack breakfast. Looks like most places require masks, so bring one.
